John A. Kowal Memorial Scholarship Overview 

The scholarship was established in memory of one of OMAC’s founding members, John A. Kowal, to honor him and his contributions to field he served for 20+ years – to encourage and support the growth of careers in automation. 

As one of the most influential figures and vital contributor to the automation and packaging industries, John’s legacy lives on through this scholarship.

Application Qualifications/Requirements:

The applicant must be a third-or fourth-year student majoring in electrical engineering/automation, or related areas and demonstrating commitment to excellence in the industry.

The applicant will need to submit:

Amount of Scholarship:

One (1) in the amount of $5,000.

Award Process:

A check is written to the recipient and the school – sent to the school directly.
