OMAC presented University of Waterloo Mechatronics Lab with a $5,000 Education Grant to support ongoing research in mechatronic automation in manufacturing. Ron MacDonald, OMAC Chairman, presented a ceremonial check to University of Waterloo’s Dr. William Melek Director of Mechatronics Engineering and the RoboHub and Dr. Soo Jeon, Associate Professor, Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering.
Featured speakers from the most recent PackML Workshop at The Automation Conference took a few minutes with Jack Aguero from OMAC and Aguero Associates to briefly share a few of their insights on implementing PackML.
