OMAC Activities: OMAC Roundtable Discussion: This workshop will provide users with the opportunity to participate in discussions about emerging PLM needs and requirements. Among these are virtual commissioning, an emerging technology area that offers companies significant opportunities to save time and reduce costs. Although suppliers are providing much better digital manufacturing products and users are beginning to reap benefits from the technology, the term virtual commissioning remains confusing and un-attainable for most users. This workshop provides its participants an opportunity to learn what virtual commissioning is really about; what its benefits are; what users must do to successfully execute virtual commissioning; and what digital manufacturing tools suppliers must provide users to be successful in this area.
